Fun Family Things To Do This Weekend

On Saturday, July 10th bring your kids over to Toys R Us from 11 am to 1 pm for a Thomas the Train Playdate!  My kids love doing this!  Last time we went they had a train table the kids could play with, lots of pictures to color, paper conductor hats for them to wear, and good deals on Thomas toys!

Make sure your store is participating before you head over.

If you're in the Ogden area on Saturday stop by the Dinosaur Park where they're having their second annual Carnivourous Carnival from 10 am to 6 pm!  You'll need to buy a regular admission ticket ($7/adult, $5/child, 2 and under are free) unless you're a member, and then it's free!  The ride tickets are seperate and cost 50 cents each, or $20 for unlimited rides and inflatables. 

While you're in Ogden, make sure you check out the Treehouse Museum!  On Saturday they are giving everyone FREE admission!  Their hours are 10 am to 6 pm.  If you haven't taken your kids before, do!  They will love it!

Are you heading out on vacation?  One thing I like to do is find the zip code for the area I'm going to be staying at and then buy some gift certificates for places close to my hotel.  Eating out can be a huge expense while you're traveling, and this is one way I can really save some money!

I love to save money.  I am willing to head out at midnight if needs be to get the best deals.  And if it's FREE, I thought there was nothing I wouldn't do to get in on that deal.  I think I just found where I draw the line.  On July 9th, Chick-Fil-A will be giving away FREE COMBO MEALS for anyone dressed like a cow! I thought this was hillarious!  Apparently it's Cow Appreication Day.  Find out more information here.  It does look like you can dress your kids up like a cow and get a free kids meal, and I think I just might have a kids cow costume laying around some where, if they're up for it!  It also says that you might be able to come in partial costume, maybe even just wearing a cow patterned purse or other accessory and still get a free entree, depending on the restaurant operator.  I love Chick-Fil-A, this deal is almost too good to pass up, almost.
