Elf on the Shelf - Saying Goodbye!

About a month ago our elf showed up on our doorstep bringing a candy can for each of us.  Today, on his last day with us, he brought candy canes again.  We found him sitting in a Santa hat, getting ready for his big night tonight!  So until next year, Goodbye little elf!

I hope you have a VERY

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Elf on the Shelf - Rudolph Noses!

When we woke up this morning we found we all had red paint on our noses!  While we slept our little elf was busily turning us all into Rudolph's!  We spotted him hiding, red pain in hand, and a red nose of his own!  (My kids - and husband - were very anxious to wash it off. ha ha!)

Disney Movie Rewards: Double Points Day!

If you have a movie you've yet to enter your magic code at Disney Movie Rewards, you'll want to make sure you do it today!  Head on over to your account, log in, and enter up to two magic codes - because today only you'll get double points!  I was hoping they'd do this one again so I had two movies my kids are getting for Christmas that were still waiting to be wrapped.  Now I can finish that wrapping!

Also, it's the last day for ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas where you'll get 15 bonus points - 5 for today and the extra 10 to cover this weekend.

I hope you've enjoyed getting all of your bonus points from Disney Movie Rewards this month as much as I have!  Oh, and on a side note, I was so surprised when my little girl's princess scooter showed up at my door yesterday!  I thought there would be no way it would make it in time for Christmas, and just planned to save it for her birthday, but there it was!  Hope you get yours in time too!

Elf on the Shelf - Snow Ball Fight!

We don't have much snow at our house right now, and I think our elf must have been missing it because he headed under our Christmas tree where we have two snowmen ready to be given as gifts, propped himself up by them, grabbed a bag of marshmallows and threw them all over the room!

The kids thought he must have had some of his elf friends over in the night to have the snowball fight with him!  I'm glad I vacuumed the night before, because then the kids wanted to eat the marshmallows, right off the floor!

Elf on the Shelf - Frosting Gingerbread Cookies!

Elf on the Shelf - An Elf's Story

I think An Elf's Story is a must for anyone who has an Elf on the Shelf.  It explains all the hard questions your little ones might have for you about your elf!  My Mother-in-Law got this for my kids, after they watched it at her house and they loved it.  We watched it last night and the kids wanted to know where their elf was in the movie.  So today our elf had the movie sitting by him and we explained that he was one of the elves that was flying to the houses, and also one of the elves that fly back with Santa on Christmas Eve.  Even though he wasn't one of the main characters, it made my kids happy to know where their elf fit in with the story.

Elf on the Shelf - Joy

Our little elf brings us lots of JOY each morning!

Disney Movie Rewards: Double Points Day!

Disney Movie Rewards is having 12 Days of Cheer!  It started yesterday, but sadly I missed it.  Anyone know what it was?

Well, today's looks like it's double points day for up to 2 codes!  Do you have some Disney movies you're going to give your kids for Christmas?  My kids are little enough not to care if I go open them and then still wrap them up for Christmas and give them to them, so I was able to grab double points on 2 movies!  I'm not sure if the double points would go on the ABC Family 5 points they give, but I'm entering these codes first just in case, since I'd rather get double points on 100 points than just on 5.  If you don't have movies laying around, then we'll keep our fingers crossed that you get double points on the 5 from ABC Family since every little bit helps.

Snapfish: Photo Books and Calendars Buy 1 Get 2 FREE!

If you have some time in the next couple of days, here's a great way to make some fabulous last minute Christmas gifts.  Head on over to Snapfish and create 3 photo books or 3 calendars.  You'll only pay for one, on their buy 1 get 2 FREE sale!  Just enter coupon code DECBOOKS for your photo books or CALDEC for your calendars.  The photo books deal goes through the 15th, but the calendars deal only goes through the 14th, so you'll need to hurry if you want to grab either deal, but seriously, these make the best Christmas presents!

Frog Birthday Party

My very talented sister just did the cutest frog birthday party for my nephew and I had to share her ideas!  These invitations were my only contribution to the party.

For party hats, she made these adorable frog hats.  They were a huge hit!

She planned so many fun games, like frog races with these little plastic frogs, leap frog, a race where you try to blow your "bug" using a party blower for your frog tongue (so cute!), and the balloon pop game where you had to jump like a frog to pop each other's balloons.

My very talented mom made these amazing frog cake pops.  The kids loved them!

Here's the darling frog cake.

This was such a fun party!

Elf on the Shelf - Mistle Toe Kisses

Elf on the Shelf - Christmas Lists

We needed to narrow down our Christmas lists this year, so we enlisted the help of our little Elf friend!

The kids found him hiding under the Christmas tree holding a paper for each of them to write their Christmas lists on.  When they were finished, they gave him back the lists.  In the morning the lists were gone and the kids knew they had safely taken to the North Pole and given to Santa Claus.

Elf on the Shelf - Hiding in Your Holiday Decor

Elves love Christmas, so we weren't surprised to find him hiding in our holly berry wreath!  I think he looks cute up there, and makes it more Christmas-y!
