Babies R Us Trade-In Event

Today through September 17th, bring your old, used car seats, high chairs, bassinets, strollers, play yards, cribs, travel systems and toddler beds over to  Babies R Us for their Great Trae-In Event.  For each item you bring in you will receive a 25% off coupon to use that same day to purchase a new product from brands like Babi Italia, Baby Cache, Baby Trend, Bergamo, Bertini, Britax, Carter's, Chicco, Contours by Kolcraft, Cosco, Delta, Eddie Bauer, Evenflo, Graco, Jeep, Little Tikes, Safety 1st, Sorelle and Step 2.  The things you bring to trade in do not have to be these brands and do not even have to have been bought originally from Babies R Us!  I think this would be a great time to update if you have a toddler out-growing a crib or car seat, and saving 25% will really help soften the blow of buying the upgrade!

Swimming and a Sleep Over 10-year-old Girl Birthday Party

I'm in the middle of a bunch of projets right now, but my favorite has been getting ready for my neice's 10-year-old birthday party!  She loves American Girl Dolls and is having a swimming party and a sleep over.  Here's the invitations, front (above) and middle:

They are in the middle of moving so I thought it would be fun to make picture frames as party favors that we will take a picure of each girl with Morgan so they will each have a keepsake.

I was happy with the way they turned out even though the blue was Morgan's choice and there was no changing her mind.  I love the "BFF" to tie it all together!

Some things I do with my samples:

*Throw them into your 72-hour kit.  Samples are smaller and so lighter weight, you don't have a whole big package in your little bag.

*Start a little "Guest Basket" for when you have visitors stay with you from out of town.  There is always something they will have forgotten to bring, how nice if you have it right there for them to find and use!

What other things do you do with all of your FREE samples?
