A couple months ago I received my FREE copy of Jenniemae & James: A Memoir in Black and White.  I had a hard time getting into it but about two chapters in I couldn't put it down.  It was an interesting biography about James Newman, a brilliant but crazy man who was also a friend of Albert Einstein.  It covered race issues during the 1940's, '50's, and '60's and was about an amazing yet odd friendship between this rich white man and his extremely over weight African American maid, Jenniemae.  Even though James is the very intelligent one in this pair, it is most often Jenniemae who has the most knowledge about life and how to take care of Jame and his family.  If you read it, or if you have read it, please let me know!  I'd love to hear what you thought of this book.

I heart Chuck E. Cheese

Last week we took my son to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate his preschool graduation.  I signed up for their one time only coupons here and used the coupon for a large pepperoni pizza, 4 drinks, and 30 tokens for only $19.99!  At my location they were also doing double tokens Monday through Thursday so we ended up getting 60 tokens.  My family had dinner, two hours of entertainment and walked away with prizes for the kids all for under $20.  Not too bad!  Also, check out their downloadable reward charts to reward your kids with free tokens for doing things like reading, cleaning their room, getting dressed, and so many more here!
