Makin' Today Fabulous - Chicken Salad Sailboats

I have some of the pickiest eaters at my house!  Meal time can be such a challenge!  I try to feed my family healthy foods, but it doesn't always go over so well.

So after needing a change in our normal lunch routine, I decided to try something new.  I made a quick and easy chicken salad out of chicken, celery, grapes and miracle whip, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.  Then I scooped it up on top of whole wheat English muffins and topped it off with a tortilla chip for a sail.  Then I decorated the plate with a few goldfish crackers.

My kids were so excited to eat lunch today!

After they gobbled up their sailboats they munched on some gummy sharks for desert.  Yummy!

I've found that meal time really goes so much smoother if I put a little more effort into it.  Even though the food I served was healthier than a traditional peanut butter sandwich, the kids still ate it up and were so much happier!

*HOT!* $22 Family Membership to Ogden Nature Center!

If summer has to end, I'm glad that there are so many fun things to look forward to in the fall!

This is my favorite time of year to visit the Ogden Nature Center.  We have been on countless walks in the fall where deer will come within 10 feet of us!  It's so beautiful to be among all of the beautiful fall colors and so many fascinating animals!

Grab today's Ogden Groupon and you can bring your whole family all year long to this incredible place for only $22!  That is a killer deal!

If you live a little further but would like to try it out once, you can also use this Groupon to get your whole family in one time for only $6.  Be sure to check out some of their fun classes they offer!  This summer my kids were able to catch frogs, pet a snake, get so close to a Bald Eagle and so much more!  When you go, be sure to say hello to the friendly turkeys.  They come right up to greet my kids each time!

Half Off Flirty Aprons

Today's Salt Lake City Groupon deal really caught by eye!  It's $30 to Flirty Aprons for only $15!  I've given these adorable aprons as gifts in the past and they're always a big hit!  I love that they are so versatile, it can be given to almost anyone on your list!

You can buy two of these Groupon deals, and I thought it would be fun to give if you have two sisters, or two friends that you might see at the same time.
