I think An Elf's Story is a must for anyone who has an Elf on the Shelf. It explains all the hard questions your little ones might have for you about your elf! My Mother-in-Law got this for my kids, after they watched it at her house and they loved it. We watched it last night and the kids wanted to know where their elf was in the movie. So today our elf had the movie sitting by him and we explained that he was one of the elves that was flying to the houses, and also one of the elves that fly back with Santa on Christmas Eve. Even though he wasn't one of the main characters, it made my kids happy to know where their elf fit in with the story.
My kids love that movie! But we don't have the doll. Perhaps I should get one for my little girl.
