We needed to return some books to our library today and it just happened to be right before story time! We didn't plan that at all, in fact I didn't even know it was story time but the cute lady in charge was coming in the same time we were and told us. My little girl had so much fun! She was read a few stories and got to see some real eggs and hold toy birds that looked and sounded like real birds. It made for a great FREE activity! Before we left we made sure to grab a calendar with all of the up coming events at the library. I was very pleasantly surprised by what all they have planned! Some of the events at my location this summer include a magic show, Brazilian martial arts, African drums and dance, Off Broadway and more! And the best part is that these events are all FREE!
You really can have a fabulous summer for FREE, or very very cheap!
